Before starting work, I spread out rolls of plastic sheeting in the neighboring parking lot so as not to dirty the paving stones, as the neighbors had asked me to do in advance. Then, using a chainsaw, I separated the hedge from the metal mesh fence that had grown into it, but it was difficult to do with a chainsaw because the branches were too thin, so I decided to use a cordless trimmer, but it turned out to be too weak for the job, so I took a more powerful trimmer. then I cut the hedge in half with a chainsaw and loaded everything into a trailer, and immediately took the trailer to the dump, and when I returned, I went to the backyard and started digging up the trunks of the hedge, Here I had to use a shovel and a hoe, digging up one tree after another with great difficulty and piling them up on the lawn. When I reached the shed, I had to remove the stacked stones that served as a decorative fence, as they were getting in the way of digging, as well as the watering hose. With every meter I moved forward, I found more and more dog toys. After removing the hedge almost to the middle, I was very tired, because the further I went, the stronger the roots of the hedge became. In addition, there was little space to use the hoe, so I decided to use a tripod with a winch, after which the work became a little easier. But the problem was that I had to move the tripod, which weighed about 70 kg, a little at a time, and it wasn't easy to do it alone. It was getting late, so I quickly moved the trees from the backyard to the trailer. The next day, I returned and continued working, and when I had removed almost the entire hedge, reaching the trash cans, I had very little left, but I was tired of moving the tripod every time, so I decided to continue working with a shovel. Everything was going well until I felt pain in my arm after another swing of the hoe, and after that, every blow with a shovel or hoe was accompanied by sharp pain. Perhaps I had damaged something in my arm, but I continued working, as there was very little left to do. When the entire hedge was completely removed, I cut off the metal mesh with an grinder. I also wanted to dig out the posts, but they were cemented in place, so after consulting with the client, we decided to leave them for now so as not to damage the paving stones when pulling these posts out of the ground. Next, I started cleaning up. There was a lot of soil in one area, so I spread the soil out a little to make it even. I also removed the old soil that had previously been in bags near the trash cans, but now there were just roots of bushes there, and I put the stones back where the hedge had been and collected the remaining clippings and leaves in a bag. That was the end of the work. This work took me two days, or about 12 hours, and three full trailers were removed.
